The Creality Sermoon P1 is a 22-line blue-laser 3D scanner capturing at up to 100 FPS, accurate to 0.02 mm. It is the model for sites scanning several parts a day that need the numbers to be repeatable every time.
Blue laser copes with the surfaces that are hardest to scan — machined metal with a sheen, dark components — which makes it a workshop and reverse-engineering tool first: capturing the real dimensions of a metal part, checking a part against its drawing, or building a mould or cover that has to fit an existing object exactly.
0.02 mm accuracy is the tightest deviation the scanner achieves in good conditions; 0.05 mm resolution is the closest two points can be and still be told apart. Point distance is adjustable from 0.05 to 3 mm, and 100 FPS means a large object can be captured in a single pass without losing tracking.
Clear, mirrored and dead-black surfaces always need a scanning spray first, whatever the brand. Book a demo at a branch and scan your own part before committing.
It is the tightest deviation the scanner reaches under good conditions. In practice the result also depends on the surface, the ambient light and how the mesh is cleaned up.
The Sermoon P1 uses a 22-line blue laser and captures at up to 100 FPS; the Raptor Pro is dual-mode with NIR light as well. Both are accurate to 0.02 mm.
The scans open in common mesh and CAD packages. Tell us which software you already use and we will confirm the workflow before you order.
Yes. If your scanning is occasional and a machine is hard to justify, ask us about our scanning and 3D printing service.
