Anycubic Print Guarantee: Kobra X First-Print Promise Explained

2026-08-06Source · Anycubic9 languages

Anycubic's new Print Guarantee backs every Kobra X first print with expert review, tailored support, and filament compensation if the machine is at fault.

A First-Print Promise from Anycubic

Getting a brand-new 3D printer up and running can be nerve-wracking — especially when that debut print doesn't go as planned. Anycubic is tackling this head-on with the launch of the Anycubic Print Guarantee, introduced alongside the new Kobra X FDM printer. The goal is simple: no new user should be left wondering whether a failed first print is their fault or the machine's.

How the Benchmark System Works

The guarantee is built around an Official Performance Benchmark model — a standardised test file pre-loaded on the Kobra X and visible directly on the printer's screen. If that specific first print falls short due to hardware or system-related factors, Anycubic's engineering team steps in to diagnose and resolve the issue using consistent, comparable data across all cases.

What Support You Actually Receive

  • Root-cause analysis — engineers review your setup, print settings, and results.
  • Personalised guidance — you receive optimised parameters and a custom action plan, not a generic reply.
  • Material compensation — if a machine or system fault is confirmed, Anycubic will send two spools of PLA filament to cover material lost during the failed attempt (colour selection not available).

Eligibility & Coverage Window

The Print Guarantee applies exclusively to Kobra X orders placed between 26 December 2025 and 15 February 2026. Once the printer is delivered, coverage is active for 30 days and covers only the first print of the official benchmark model. Issues traced back to user setup or operation are still supported with step-by-step technical guidance, even if the full material compensation does not apply.

Why It Matters for the 3D Printing Community

Beyond individual support, Anycubic plans to use anonymised first-print data to refine default profiles and push OTA firmware improvements that benefit all Kobra X owners over time. It's a practical approach to reducing early abandonment — one of the most common hurdles in consumer 3D printing.
