- P2S — enclosed CoreXY, 256 mm300°C hardened-steel nozzle, 5-inch touchscreen, AI failure detection, works with the AMS 2 Pro and its filament drying. For ABS / ASA / PETG-CF at home or in an office, and small print farms.
- X2D — dual nozzle in a 256 mm machineThe X1 Carbon successor: 65°C actively heated chamber, a second nozzle for dedicated support material that peels off cleanly, up to 25 colours with a full AMS setup. For mechanical parts and engineering filaments.
- H2 family — H2S · H2D · H2C · H2D ProLarge format 330–350 mm, 350°C hotend, 65°C chamber. Which Bambu Lab printer is best for a beginner?
The A1 mini or A1: fully automatic calibration, an accessible price and tool-free nozzle swaps. Choose a Combo model if you want multi-colour from day one; for larger parts look at the A2L.
What is the difference between the AMS lite and the AMS 2 Pro, and which printers use them?
The AMS lite is an open 4-slot feeder for the A series (A1 mini, A1, A2L). The AMS 2 Pro is an enclosed 4-slot unit with built-in filament drying for the P2S, X2D and H2 family. Connecting an AMS 2 Pro to an A-series printer needs the AMS HUB accessory.
Which model should I choose for ABS, ASA or engineering filaments?
An enclosed model: the P2S (chamber holds around 50°C, 300°C nozzle) or the X2D and H2 family with a 65°C actively heated chamber and 300–350°C nozzles. The A series is open-frame and not recommended for ABS/ASA.
