PLA Basic · Pink · 1.75 mm · 1 kg · ~335 m · 1.24 g/cm³
Print My Design PLA Basic Filament Pink 1.75 mm 1 kg — PLA Basic filament in pink, 1.75 mm, on a 1 kg spool. Print My Design stocks it because our own print service runs on it.
Pink sells in gifts, collectibles and figures that want to look bright with no painting afterwards. Bright pink photographs well and sells at events and for party favours.
PLA is the easiest filament to print — low odour, very little warping, and it sticks to the bed without an enclosure. Good for prototypes, models, figures, decorative pieces and teaching, where the same file has to print the same way every time.
PLA softens in sustained heat, so finished parts should not be left in a parked car. For heat resistance move up to PETG or ABS.
Choosing between the three: PLA is the easiest and holds dimensions best. Move to PETG when the part has to take load or sit in the sun, and to ABS when it meets real heat or impact.
Every pigmented filament can shift slightly in shade between production batches. If a build needs more than one spool, or the parts will sit side by side when assembled, buy the full quantity in one order so the pink matches across the whole job.
We print with this same PLA every day in our own 3D printing service — mostly prototypes, presentation models and short runs from customer files — so we see how each batch behaves long before it reaches the shelf.
A 1 kg spool at 1.24 g/cm³ works out at roughly 335 m of filament, about ฿0.485 of material per gram — enough to cost a part before you print it. Prefer not to print it yourself? Send us the file and we will print it in this same material.
About 335 m, from the 1 kg net weight, 1.24 g/cm³ density and 1.75 mm diameter.
Any FDM printer that takes 1.75 mm filament, which is the standard size for most machines we sell.
It depends on your printer and print speed. Start from your printer maker’s recommendation for this material and move in 5 °C steps until surface finish and layer adhesion are both good. Ask our team if you are unsure.
In a sealed bag or box with desiccant, out of sunlight and heat. Damp filament pops while printing and leaves a hazy surface.

PLA is the easiest filament to print: low shrinkage, no hot bed or enclosure required, crisp surfaces, vivid colours and almost no smell. It is the starting material for most users and for display pieces.

Typical ranges for this material; the spool label and the printer profile are the authority.
Good for models, figures, prototypes, decor and any part that stays cool. Its limits: it softens around 55–60 °C, so it is wrong for parts in a parked car or near heat, and it is more brittle than PETG under impact.

Store in a zip bag with desiccant. If the filament snaps easily or pops while printing, dry it at about 45–50 °C for two to four hours.
