Multi-material Printing — Flexible and rigid, low-cost and exotic materials in one print. Dedicated Support Material — Perfect supports with minimal waste, purging and reloading. Efficient Multi-color Printing — Fast and efficient multi-color printing.

Laser — 10W and 40W 455nm laser for engraving & cutting. Digital Cutting — Precise cutting on a variety of materials. Pen Drawing — Drawing and writing.

The H2D's BirdsEye camera, combined with computer-vision algorithms, delivers top-view alignment accuracy up to 0.3mm. This lets you place the tool path at the right position on the material — truly "what-you-see-is-what-you-get." Auto Arrangement leverages real-time images to arrange your project according to the shape of your material, getting the most out of every offcut.

Laser Safety Windows let you watch laser jobs without goggles. An optional Air Purifier keeps indoor air clean during laser operations.

Full-auto Calibration: one tap runs laser focus verification and material measurement — no manual adjustment. Material CodeSync: the H2D scans the QR code on Bambu official materials and loads the matching preset automatically.

Air Assist directs high-speed air along the laser path for cleaner, more precise cuts. Contact-less 3D Mesh uses optical height measurement to map curved surfaces for accurate laser work — no probe contact needed (enabled via firmware update).

An ultra-accurate vision encoder plate, combined with 5μm resolution optical measurements, tracks and corrects toolhead motion to achieve consistent, distance-independent 50μm motion accuracy across the entire workspace — one order of magnitude better than its predecessor. (Vision Encoder sold separately.)
With a print volume up to 350mm × 320mm × 325mm, creating large-scale projects has never been easier — from laser engraving on sizable objects to printing oversized models.

Equipped with 65°C active chamber heating and a high-temperature hotend reaching up to 350°C, the H2D delivers precise closed-loop temperature control — effectively eliminating warping and deformation in high-performance materials and ensuring superior layer bonding.

The H2D's purpose-built high-flow hotend ensures reliable, high-speed printing at 600mm/s, eliminating mid-print flow-rate restrictions for uninterrupted high-speed printing regardless of print size or complexity.

Bambu Lab's proprietary PMSM servo architecture establishes an intelligent extrusion governance system, executing 20kHz torque/resistance and position sampling to dynamically modulate electromagnetic torque — stabilizing extrusion and detecting filament grinding and clogging.
Nozzle Camera — An AI-backed nozzle camera with macro lens continuously tracks extrusion, immediately detecting material accumulation, filament deviations and extrusion failures. Pre-Flight Checklist by AI — Chamber integrity scan, hardware configuration audit and digital-physical alignment before each print. SOTA Filament Monitoring — 15 sensors along the AMS-to-nozzle path track feeding velocity, tension, filament tip location, thermal environment and extrusion pressure.

H2D AMS Combo adds an AMS 2 Pro. H2D Laser Full Combo adds the H2D Laser Edition body, 10W / 40W laser module, cutting module (with pen holder), laser & cutting platforms, ventilation pipe, laser & cutting materials and an emergency stop button.
Yes. A laser upgrade kit lets a standard H2D gain the same functions and performance as the H2D Laser Edition. The kit uses an external air pump, while the Laser Full Combo has a built-in pump, a pre-installed BirdsEye camera, and laser-protective front door, side windows and top cover.
Yes — identical structure and materials, fully interchangeable.
Up to 4x AMS 2 Pro plus 8x AMS HT simultaneously (12 units, 24 slots). As a dual-hotend machine it can reach up to 25 colours in the most extreme setup. Connecting more than 2 AMS requires the 4-in-1 PTFE adapter (FAZ013-N).
Yes — first-gen AMS is plug-and-play for multi-colour printing, but its drying function is not supported. AMS lite is not compatible because its feeding mechanism is different.
They are reserved for future expansion accessories — for example, connecting the external air pump when upgrading to the Laser Edition.
Not recommended. H2D hotends are purpose-built with higher max flow, lower clog risk, precise left/right nozzle offset calibration and automatic hotend recognition. H2D hotends can be used on A1 printers if paired with the H2D silicone sock.
Both are 455 nm blue lasers for wood, rubber, metal sheets, leather, dark acrylic and stone. 10W: cuts up to 5 mm basswood ply, engraves up to 400 mm/s, work area 310 x 270 mm (height 280 mm). 40W: cuts up to 15 mm, engraves up to 1000 mm/s, work area 310 x 250 mm (height 265 mm).
No. Printing works without one thanks to built-in storage, but a USB drive is needed for video recording/time-lapse, LAN-initiated printing, sending files to machine storage, and log export. Requirements: USB 2.0+, write speed over 10 MB/s, FAT32 or exFAT, one drive only (no hubs).
The hotend is fixed at slicing time — built-in models were sliced for the right hotend. Slice your own files in Bambu Studio to choose left or right. Some filaments such as TPU and PPS/PPA-CF have recommended hotends.
The built-in exhaust system removes most smoke and dust. With regular cleaning, the impact on performance and precision is negligible.
TPU is flexible and needs extra care during feeding and printing — follow Bambu Lab’s dedicated TPU wiki guide for the best results.
Never leave the machine unattended during laser jobs. Keep flammable or explosive materials away from the machine and monitor its status at all times.
