HeyGears has announced a strategic collaboration with VAST, a multimodal AI foundation model company, to integrate Tripo — VAST's generative 3D AI model — into the HeyGears ecosystem. The goal is to address one of the biggest friction points in full-color 3D printing: the shortage of ready-to-print, color-textured 3D assets.
How Tripo Powers the HeyGears Workflow
Tripo acts as the creative engine behind HeyVerse, HeyGears' full-color 3D printing content platform. By deeply embedding Tripo's capabilities into both HeyVerse and Blueprint Studio software, users can instantly convert a text prompt or 2D image into a color-textured, print-ready 3D mesh — no CAD experience required. This creates a closed-loop workflow spanning content generation, hardware fabrication, and ecosystem access.
The G1X: Hardware at the Heart of It All
The integration is built around the HeyGears G1X, positioned as the world's first desktop full-color 3D & UV printer. The G1X combines full-color 3D printing, 3D texture, and 2D UV printing in a single desktop platform, producing paint-free, full-color models directly from the print bed. Its 8-channel UV ink system is capable of rendering over 10 million colors.
