The Formlabs Form 3B+ is the dental and medical version of the Form 3+ laser SLA printer. What sets it apart from the standard machine is support for the Formlabs biocompatible resins — the materials used for work that touches a patient.
Most affordable resin printers are MSLA: a whole layer is projected through an LCD. The Form 3B+ uses Low Force Stereolithography — a 250 mW, 405 nm laser traced along each layer, with an 85-micron spot and 25-micron XY resolution. The result is a smoother surface and crisper edges, and much less force on the part as each layer peels away, which is what keeps thin features and fine supports from tearing off mid-print.
Resin is topped up automatically so the tank level stays constant, and five sensors track temperature, resin level and print forces, with a separate Z-axis force sensor. When prints have to be ready for an appointment, that consistency is what stops you reprinting.
145 × 145 × 193 mm build volume, 25–300 micron layers. The machine is 40.5 × 37.5 × 53 cm and 17.5 kg, connects over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB, and is driven from a 5.5-inch touchscreen. Install it somewhere you can hold 18–28 °C. Note that this price is the printer only — wash and cure units are sold separately, and we can put a complete set together for the work you plan to do.
The Formlabs Form 3B+ 3D Printer costs ฿69,000 including VAT at Print My Design (regular price ฿179,000). It is in stock; stock at each branch is shown on this page. Delivery is free anywhere in Thailand.
The machine and the LFS process are the same. The 3B+ adds support for the Formlabs biocompatible resins used in dental and medical work.
No — this is the printer only. Every resin print needs washing and UV curing, and we can quote a complete set.
In a room you can hold between 18 and 28 °C, with ventilation: uncured resin smells and irritates skin.
Yes. The machine ships with warranty, and our technicians handle installation, training and servicing.
