Bambu Lab and Bambū Desserts & Drinks have announced a cross-industry collaboration that launched on September 19, 2026. The two brands — one a desktop 3D-printer maker, the other a beloved Vietnamese dessert chain — share more than just a name. Their partnership bridges cutting-edge manufacturing technology with the everyday joy of a refreshing drink stop.
About the Two Brands
Bambū Desserts & Drinks was founded in 2008 by four Vietnamese sisters in San Jose, California, growing from a single café specializing in traditional Chè desserts into a chain now spanning 24 U.S. states with over 60 locations. Bambu Lab, headquartered across Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Austin, Texas, has made desktop 3D printing accessible to everyday users worldwide.
Live Printing Inside the Store
The centerpiece of the campaign is simple and striking: Bambu Lab 3D printers are set up directly inside Bambū storefronts, letting customers watch in real time as machines build precise, layer-by-layer replicas of the chain's signature drinks. Initial rollout locations include stores in Grand Prairie and Haltom City, TX, Cave Creek, AZ, with Westminster, CO and San Francisco, CA joining soon.
Exclusive Menu & Limited-Edition Giveaways
To complement the experience, Bambū is offering a special seasonal menu featuring taro milk tea paired with pandan mochi waffles. Customers who film the live printing process and share it on social media using #BambuMeetsBambu can receive limited-edition 3D-printed gifts — capped at 100 items per store per day — and enter to win a Bambu Lab A1 Mini Combo 3D Printer.
