Z-ASA Pro Filament
ASA is the sun-proof version of ABS: it does not yellow or turn brittle under UV, with similar heat and impact resistance, which makes it the standard material for outdoor parts.
| Nozzle temperature | 240–260 °C |
|---|---|
| Bed temperature | 90–110 °C |
| Enclosure | Strongly recommended |
| Drying | 70–80 °C for 2–4 h if stored long |
Typical ranges for this material; the spool label and the printer profile are the authority.
Good for outdoor fixtures, sensor housings, camera and solar mounts, signage and vehicle parts that sit in the sun.
Best on an enclosed printer such as the Bambu Lab P2S, X2D or H2 series to limit warping and fumes
Needs the same enclosure and ventilation as ABS. Keep it dry and slow down a little on large parts to limit shrinkage.
