One Ecosystem, Less Friction
Anycubic Software 2.0 is a coordinated update spanning the Anycubic App, Anycubic Slicer Next, and printer firmware. Rather than treating each platform in isolation, the update is designed to bring all three closer together — reducing the small, repetitive interruptions that accumulate over a typical print session.
Remote Access to Key Printer Controls
Previously, features such as AI Detection, Smart Assist, and Equipment Calibration could only be toggled directly on the printer. With Software 2.0, these controls are now accessible from both the App and the slicer, so you can check or change a setting without leaving your desk — or your couch.
Print Status at a Glance
The App's workspace and task pages have been reorganised to surface the information you actually need mid-print: current layer, remaining time, estimated completion, and filament usage — all in one view. The printer screen also now displays the current time in the top-right corner, making it easier to gauge when a job will finish.
Usability Improvements Throughout
- Clearer feature descriptions have been added to Smart Assist settings across the App, slicer, and firmware.
- Larger touch targets on the printer interface reduce accidental taps and make navigation more comfortable.
- Better third-party filament support and improved file search have been added to Anycubic Slicer Next.
