HeyGears UltraPrint-Production PAWR10 — Cream Yellow, 1 kg

PAWR10 is the wear-resistant resin. Its whole reason to exist is the surface: parts come off the plate already as smooth as if you had sanded them with 600–1000 grit, and the skin is hard enough to shrug off the scuffs that normally ruin a resin print after a few weeks of handling. If people are going to pick your part up, this is the material.

HeyGears UltraPrint-Production PAWR10 Cream Yellow wear-resistant resin bottle

Who is it for?

  • Board game and chess pieces – things that get handled every single game night.
  • Articulated figures and action models – joints that rub without wearing smooth.
  • Electronics housings and outdoor gear – surfaces that stay presentable.
  • Anyone who hates sanding – the finish is most of the way there already.

Why people choose it

  • Smooth straight off the printer – comparable to a 600–1000 grit sanded finish.
  • 2H surface hardness – about the same as automotive paint.
  • Resists yellowing and does not lose its properties over time.
  • Works on every current Reflex machine, including RS and RS Turbo.

Which printers can use it?

UltraCraft Reflex RS, Reflex RS Turbo, Reflex, Reflex Turbo, Reflex 2, Reflex 2 Pro The Pulsing Release Module is optional — not required, but it helps with tall or delicate plates.

Good to know before you print

  • Shake the bottle well before pouring; pigment settles.
  • Wash in 95% IPA, then UV-cure. Short, even cure times keep fine detail from going chalky.
  • Store closed, upright, dark and dry at room temperature.
  • Wear nitrile gloves and work in a ventilated space while the resin is liquid.

FAQ

Common questions

Which HeyGears printers can I use it with?

It is officially supported on UltraCraft Reflex RS, Reflex RS Turbo, Reflex, Reflex Turbo, Reflex 2, Reflex 2 Pro. The Pulsing Release Module is optional — not required, but it helps with tall or delicate plates.

What makes PAWR10 different from a normal modelling resin?

The surface. Parts come off the plate about as smooth as a 600–1000 grit sanded finish, and the skin reaches 2H hardness — roughly the same as automotive paint. It also resists yellowing, so pieces that get handled and displayed keep looking new far longer than a standard resin.

What should I print in it?

Anything people touch: chess and board game pieces, articulated figures, action models, electronics housings and outdoor equipment. It is a production resin, so it is happiest doing repeat runs of parts that need to survive real use.

How do I wash and cure it?

Wash in 95% IPA — about 2 minutes rough wash plus 1 minute fine wash in an UltraCraft Wash at 180 r/min — then dry-cure for roughly 30 minutes in an UltraCraft Cure. Short, even curing keeps fine detail from going chalky.

How should I store it, and is it safe to handle?

Keep the bottle closed, upright, dark and dry at room temperature, and shake it well before every pour because the pigment settles. Unopened bottles keep for about 12 months from the production date on the label. Liquid resin irritates skin, so wear nitrile gloves and eye protection and work in a ventilated space. Fully cured parts are safe to handle.
