HeyGears UltraPrint-Modeling PAU11 — Grey, 1 kg

PAU11 is the ABS-like resin in the HeyGears range. Where most resins are hard but brittle, PAU11 takes a knock and keeps going. That makes it the one to reach for when the printed part is not a display piece but an actual working part — a housing, a bracket, a clip, a case that gets screwed together and handled every day.

HeyGears UltraPrint-Modeling PAU11 ABS-like resin bottle in grey

Who is it for?

  • Functional end-use parts – enclosures, brackets, clips and camera or drone accessories.
  • Engineering prototypes – snap fits and self-tapping screw joints that need to survive being assembled more than once.
  • Product designers – looks-like and works-like models in one print.
  • Anyone tired of brittle prints – parts that flex a little instead of snapping.

Why people choose it

  • ABS-like toughness – 21 % elongation at break and 42 J/m notched impact strength.
  • Strong but not stiff-and-fragile – 86 MPa flexural strength with a 1,980 MPa modulus.
  • Accurate – ±0.05 mm printed part tolerance.
  • Colour-stable – the grey does not drift over long-term use.
  • Heat deflection 63 °C at 0.45 MPa, so it copes with a warm car or a warm enclosure.

Functional parts printed in PAU11 ABS-like resin

Which printers can use it?

UltraCraft Reflex RS, Reflex RS Turbo, Reflex, Reflex Turbo, Reflex 2, Reflex 2 Pro The Pulsing Release Module is optional — not required, but it helps with tall or delicate plates.

Good to know before you print

  • Shake the bottle well before pouring; pigment settles.
  • Wash in 95% IPA, then UV-cure. Short, even cure times keep fine detail from going chalky.
  • Store closed, upright, dark and dry at room temperature.
  • Wear nitrile gloves and work in a ventilated space while the resin is liquid.

FAQ

Common questions

Which HeyGears printers can I use it with?

It is officially supported on UltraCraft Reflex RS, Reflex RS Turbo, Reflex, Reflex Turbo, Reflex 2, Reflex 2 Pro. The Pulsing Release Module is optional — not required, but it helps with tall or delicate plates.

What can I actually make with PAU11?

Working parts rather than display pieces: enclosures, brackets, clips, camera and drone accessories, snap fits and self-tapping screw bosses. It holds ±0.05 mm tolerance, stretches 21 % before breaking, takes 42 J/m notched impact and keeps its shape up to a 63 °C heat deflection temperature.

How is PAU11 different from PAU10?

Both are ABS-like, but PAU11 is the current version and is supported across the whole Reflex family, including Reflex RS, RS Turbo, Reflex 2 and Reflex 2 Pro. PAU10 only runs on Reflex and Reflex Turbo. If you have a recent machine, PAU11 is the one to buy.

How do I wash and cure it?

Wash in 95% IPA — about 2 minutes rough wash plus 1 minute fine wash in an UltraCraft Wash at 180 r/min — then dry-cure for roughly 30 minutes in an UltraCraft Cure. Short, even curing keeps fine detail from going chalky.

How should I store it, and is it safe to handle?

Keep the bottle closed, upright, dark and dry at room temperature, and shake it well before every pour because the pigment settles. Unopened bottles keep for about 12 months from the production date on the label. Liquid resin irritates skin, so wear nitrile gloves and eye protection and work in a ventilated space. Fully cured parts are safe to handle.
