PAF10 is the PVC-like flexible production resin, and Clear is the version that finally brought a proper transparent material to the RS series. Good to know before you print

Which HeyGears printers can I use it with?

It is officially supported on UltraCraft Reflex RS, Reflex RS Turbo, Reflex, Reflex Turbo, Reflex 2, Reflex 2 Pro. The Pulsing Release Module is optional — not required, but it helps with tall or delicate plates.

What makes PAF10 Clear different from PAT10?

Both are transparent, but they solve different problems. PAT10 is the optical one — 88.5 % transmittance and 5.4 % haze for maximum clarity. PAF10 Clear is the flexible one: PVC-like, excellent breakage resistance, and it is the first clear resin supported on the RS series. Choose PAT10 for glass-like clarity, PAF10 for clear parts that must not snap.

Will thin parts still break?

Far less often. PAF10 is a flexible, PVC-like resin with excellent breakage resistance, which is exactly why people use it for spears, antennae, wings and other slender geometry. It also ages well, so display pieces stay intact rather than becoming brittle.

How do I wash and cure it?

Wash in 95% IPA — about 2 minutes rough wash plus 1 minute fine wash in an UltraCraft Wash at 180 r/min — then dry-cure for roughly 30 minutes in an UltraCraft Cure. Short, even curing keeps fine detail from going chalky.

How should I store it, and is it safe to handle?

Keep the bottle closed, upright, dark and dry at room temperature, and shake it well before every pour because the pigment settles. Unopened bottles keep for about 12 months from the production date on the label. Liquid resin irritates skin, so wear nitrile gloves and eye protection and work in a ventilated space. Fully cured parts are safe to handle.
