HeyGears UltraPrint-Modeling PARP10 — Orange Clay, 1 kg

PARP10 Orange Clay is the rapid prototyping resin for detail work. The smallest printable feature is 0.1 mm and the finish is matte, so layer lines disappear and the model looks like sculpted clay rather than a print. A work of fracture of 3,350 J/m² means it also survives being handled while you review it.

Who is it for?

  • Jewellery prototypes – check a design in the hand before you commit metal.
  • Mould masters – crisp details transfer straight into silicone.
  • Figurines and sculpts – the clay-like matte tone reads like a physical maquette.
  • Fast design loops where you print, look, adjust and print again.

Why people choose it

  • Smallest printable detail 0.1 mm.
  • Work of fracture 3,350 J/m² – good damage resistance for a detail resin.
  • Matte surface that hides layer lines.
  • High dimensional accuracy with well-defined details.
  • Runs on every current Reflex machine, RS and RS Turbo included.

Which printers can use it?

UltraCraft Reflex RS, Reflex RS Turbo, Reflex, Reflex Turbo, Reflex 2, Reflex 2 Pro The Pulsing Release Module is optional — not required, but it helps with tall or delicate plates.

Good to know before you print

  • Shake the bottle well before pouring; pigment settles.
  • Wash in 95% IPA, then UV-cure. Short, even cure times keep fine detail from going chalky.
  • Store closed, upright, dark and dry at room temperature.
  • Wear nitrile gloves and work in a ventilated space while the resin is liquid.

FAQ

Common questions

Which HeyGears printers can I use it with?

It is officially supported on UltraCraft Reflex RS, Reflex RS Turbo, Reflex, Reflex Turbo, Reflex 2, Reflex 2 Pro. The Pulsing Release Module is optional — not required, but it helps with tall or delicate plates.

What is PARP10 Orange Clay best at?

Fine, sculpted detail you can hold and judge. The smallest printable feature is 0.1 mm, dimensional accuracy is high, and the matte clay-toned surface hides layer lines completely — jewellery prototypes, mould masters and figurines are its natural home.

Is it tough enough to handle?

For a detail resin, yes. HeyGears rates the work of fracture at 3,350 J/m², which gives it moderate toughness and good damage resistance. It is designed for prototypes you pass around a table, not for load-bearing end-use parts.

How do I wash and cure it?

Wash in 95% IPA — about 2 minutes rough wash plus 1 minute fine wash in an UltraCraft Wash at 180 r/min — then dry-cure for roughly 30 minutes in an UltraCraft Cure. Short, even curing keeps fine detail from going chalky.

How should I store it, and is it safe to handle?

Keep the bottle closed, upright, dark and dry at room temperature, and shake it well before every pour because the pigment settles. Unopened bottles keep for about 12 months from the production date on the label. Liquid resin irritates skin, so wear nitrile gloves and eye protection and work in a ventilated space. Fully cured parts are safe to handle.
